NICOSIA – Work on the Limnitis checkpoint connecting the isolated Tillyria region with the rest of the island via the occupied areas is set to start in early March with completion taking another 4 to 6 months, Government Spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said Monday.
He said that the process for inviting tenders for the construction of the road was being finalised Monday, while the necessary expropriations of private property could be completed by the time the contract was awarded at the beginning of March.
