UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon was meeting President Christofias at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, Monday.
The meeting follows a 45-minute meeting Ban had with Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat in the occupied areas, after which he had lunch with him.
Earlier the UN chief had attended a ceremony in Ledra Street to mark the completion of repair work on a number of buildings in the area.
At 2.30 he is scheduled to have a joint meeting with the two leaders at the house of the Special Representative in Cyprus in Nicosia airport. At 4.15pm, he was to give a joint press conference with the two leaders. At 6.30pm he will attend a reception at the Ledra Palace in the presence of diplomats and representatives of civil society.
Ban leaves Cyprus Tuesday morning.
