NICOSIA: There are signs of improvement in the condition of Deputy Evroko Chairman Nikos Koutsou, who was hospitalised on Tuesday evening following a major stroke.
Nicosia General Hospital Medical Director, Petros Petrides, said his patient was progressing smoothly and a CT scan taken yesterday, showed an improvement in the intracranial haematoma, following surgery. The CT scan also showed that there is no active bleeding. Koutsou is also responding to commands. He was removed from the respirator yesterday.
