NICOSIA - Russian FM Sergei Lavrov will pay an official visit to Cyprus on November 4, at the invitation of his Cypriot counterpart Marcos Kyprianou.According to an official statement, issued here today, during his visit, Lavrov will be received by President of the Republic Demetris Christofias and he will attend a working lunch, at the Presidential Palace.Later in the day, he will have a private meeting with his Kyprianou, followed by talks with the participation of the respective delegations from the two countries.Lavrov will also meet the President of the House of Representatives Marios Garoyian. During Lavrov’s visit, Cyprus and Russia will sign a political consultations protocol for 2010 - 2011 and a cooperation programme in the fields of science, education and civilisation for 2009 - 2012.
