Ivica Dacic

NICOSIA- Cyprus and Serbia on Thursday examined ways of further promoting their bilateral cooperation in combating crime.

The issue was discussed during official talks between Justice Minister Loucas Louca and Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic, who is on an official visit to Cyprus.

The two Ministers’ discussions for cooperation in combating crime are ahead of the ratification process by the parliaments of the two countries of a bilateral agreement signed last February.

Louca and Dacic noted that the ratification of the agreement signed during a state visit to Belgrade by President Demetris Christofias, would strengthen cooperation in the fields of combating terrorism and all types of crime.
