NICOSIA - President Demetris Christofias, accompanied by his wife Elsie, will pay a two-day official visit to Armenia next week,
An official announcement issued Thuesday said, Christofias who leaves on Monday, July 6, will have a private meeting with the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
The two presidents will chair talks which will be held between the delegations of the two countries.
Christofias will also hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Patriarch of All Armenians and the Mayor of Yerevan.
He and his wife Elsie will also visit the Memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Christofias will attend a working lunch with the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and a formal dinner hosted in his honour by the country’s President.
