NICOSIA -Two people have been remanded in custody accused of a racist attack against a Nigerian man in Nicosia.The men, aged 27 and 25, face a number of charges connected with the incident which attracted widespread criticism.They are alleged to have been part of a mob which attacked the 25-year-old in Makarios Avenue with bats.Amongst the charges is one of criminal damage to a Greek Cypriot woman’s car.
